INTRODUCING WI-Fi 7
Our latest routers include seventh generation Wi-Fi tech (an improvement on Wi-Fi 6 and 6E) and are built to handle all our package speeds.
Wi-Fi 7 provides a faster connection speed with lower latency, and the ability to manage more connected devices more securely.
What is a router?
Routers are the gateway from the internet to your devices. They plug in to our network and split up the signal, sending it wirelessly to all your devices at the same time to get you online.
You can 'hard-wire' devices like TVs and PCs to a router. An ethernet cable will provide an uninterrupted connection and guaranteed speeds.

An engineer tip to get the most from your router: treat it like a speaker. Read on, you'll see what we mean.
GIVE THEM SPACE
Playing music in an open field ensures everyone can hear it.
Wi-Fi works in the same way - open spaces allow for better signal distribution.
Engineer Tip: Place the router in an uncluttered area without obstructions.
LOCATION. LOCATION.
If your speaker is in the corner of a room the sound won’t reach everywhere evenly.
A router placed in a corner does the same with Wi-Fi; it creates dead zones.
Engineer Tip: Position it in the centre of your home if you can for even coverage. Add YouMesh for an extra boost.
DON'T HIDE IT AWAY
A speaker in a cupboard will sound muffled.
A router in a cupboard will reduce its Wi-Fi range and strength because walls and doors absorb or block the signal.
Engineer Tip: Place it in an open space where it can broadcast Wi-Fi freely.
HEIGHT IS KEY
Placing a speaker on the floor will muffle the sound because obstacles block it.
A router at floor level mean furniture and appliances can interfere with the signal.
And if it's too high it's like turning a shower-head upwards.
Engineer Tip: Place your Hub mid-height in the room for even Wi-Fi signal distribution.
