YouFibre, the ultrafast and ultra-affordable internet provider, has today announced that it has connected its first customer in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.
With a population of over 90,000, Tewkesbury is a vibrant town in the Cotswolds that continues to attract residents and businesses to its historic and scenic location. Iconically, one of Tewkesbury’s most renowned buildings, Tewkesbury Abbey, was bought from Henry VIII by the townsfolk for £453.
With a growing number of global leaders and businesses in the area, including YouFibre’s own HQ, the introduction of an ultrafast internet provider to Tewkesbury will ensure that Tewkesbury is one of the UK’s best-connected areas, enabling workers and citizens alike to enjoy the full benefits of ultrafast and reliable internet services.
YouFibre, which offers speeds of up to 10,000Mbps compared to the average of 79.1Mpbs, marked the occasion with a presentation of champagne and a year’s free broadband for the lucky customer. YouFibre also presented the customer with a year’s free YouMesh solution, which enables full Wi-Fi coverage in every room of the house.

YouFibre, which was founded in 2019, has seen exponential growth in recent months as it expands its offer across the UK and today marks its second move into Gloucestershire alongside Cheltenham, where it announced its first customer in April this year.

YouFibre offers a range of packages, starting at £22 per month with an average speed of 50Mbps, increasing to £45 per month for hyperfast broadband services, with speeds of up to 10,000Mbps. To mark the occasion of reaching 10,000 customers, YouFibre has announced its best offer to date, with six months free broadband for all new customers joining either the 500Mbps or 1000Mbps package, from Friday 1 st July to 30th September 2022.
