YouFibre, the ultrafast and ultra-affordable internet provider, has today announced that it has connected its first customer in Frome, a town and civil parish located in Somerset.
Frome, located 13 miles south of Bath, was named by The Times as the 2021 “Best Place to Live” in the Southwest. It has an estimated population of over 28,000 residents and is renowned for its historic architecture and cobbled streets. Frome was a centre of the cloth trade in mediaeval times and today its markets and creative industries are a key feature of the town and contribute to its recognition for strong community spirit and entertainment.
YouFibre, which offers speeds of up to 10,000Mbps compared to the average of 79.1Mpbs, marked the occasion with a presentation of champagne and a year’s free broadband for the lucky customer. YouFibre also presented the customer with a year’s free YouMesh solution, which enables full Wi-Fi coverage in every room of the house.
