YouFibre sponsors Bingley 2026

Bingley26 was a brilliant weekend, and we were proud to be part of it!

Bingley26 took over the town on 6th and 7th June, and we were there to see it. From Myrtle Park to Market Square, Bingley Arts Centre to All Saints Church, the whole town came together for a weekend celebrating art, culture, history and the people who make Bingley what it is.

This was our second year sponsoring the event, first as Brsk and now as YouFibre, and one of our favourite dates in the calendar.

Arts and culture took over the town

Art, craft and community stalls popped up across the weekend, alongside children's cinema shorts, puppet shows and puppet-making workshops. There were murals, drawing activities and craft sessions for all ages, plus "Make A Poem" workshops inspired by nature. Music ran through the whole event too, with jazz bands, local musicians, dance groups and community performers taking to the stages.

A weekend steeped in heritage

Bingley26 also gave locals and visitors the chance to dig into the town's history. Heritage exhibitions and archives showcased collections from local historians and societies, while the Bingley Heritage Trail walks and photography trails took people around the town's landmarks. Bingley Arts Centre opened its doors for theatre tours, and All Saints Church welcomed visitors up the bell tower for bell-ringing demonstrations.

Fun for the whole family

There was plenty to keep families entertained too, from a pop-up farm and children's rides to games, crafts and entertainment throughout the weekend. The duck race and RSPCA Fun Dog Show were firm favourites, and free tennis sessions and cricket-themed activities got everyone moving.

Ross Hardaker, Community and Events Manager at YouFibre, said: "Bingley26 gets better every year, and it's a privilege to be part of a weekend that brings the whole town together. Seeing everyone out enjoying it, from the little ones at the puppet shows to the crowds cheering on the duck race, is exactly why we love sponsoring events like this. Thank you to everyone in Bingley who made the weekend so special, and to everyone who came out to enjoy it."
